Results of Special Supplementary Examination

The resutls of Special Supplementary Examination conducted for Final Semester UG/PG courses have been announced on the Christ College Notice Board. Those who have passed in all the papers appeared for, are eligible for Graduation. They can collect the marks cards and other documents from the Office of Examination, Christ College, from July 21, 2008 to July 23, 2008. They can apply for University Degree Certificate by paying the prescribed fees (Rs. 310) and filling up the application form attaching copies of marks cards of all the semesters. Submit the application latest by July 25, 2008.

Fr .Thomas invited to speak at Oslo

Fr. Thomas C. Mathew, Principal, is invited to speak at the City Hall of Oslo to celebrate the Fredskorpset (FK) North South Forum 2008 in September. He is one among the three keynote speakers at the Forum. Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus of Bangaldesh and the Norwegian Minister of Development and Environment, Erik Solheim are the other two. The Mayor of Oslo will open the Forum which will be attended by 400 partner represntatives of FK from around the globe and 700 representatives from the Norwegian and International Society at large.

Workshop on Research Methodology

The Centre for Research is organising a program on research strategies and methods. It will focus on the skills which need to be developed for the conceptual design, planning and structuring of a scientific treatise, ranging from short essays to doctoral dissertations as well as postdoctoral works, and is open for faculty members and postgraduate students. Various tools of scientific research, e.g. analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction, qualitative and structural methodologies etc., will be introduced and discussed. This program consists of various workshops which are conducted fortnightly for a period of three months. Duration of each workshop will be two hours (time and venue will be announced later). Admissions Open for B. Ed. Programme

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a semester course which extends over a period of one academic year of 2 semesters. The duration of the first semester is of 16 weeks and second semester of 18 weeks (204 working days). Minimum duration for practice teaching shall be 6 weeks which excludes programmes like micro teaching, simulated teaching and practice of communication skills.

Degree Certificates for 2005-2007 PG Students

Degree certificates of Post Graduate students of 2005 -2007 batch (Autonomous) who graduated in May 2007, have been received from Bangalore University. Students can collect the certificates from the Office of Examination, Christ College, by producing proof of identification and paying the prescribed University fees for the same.
